 George has spent many years in the Southwest; as a student, as a traveler, and as a resident of Guadelupe Ranch, his
father’s home in the mountains of New Mexico. During his Southwestern days, George developed an abiding interest in Native Americans’ spiritual closeness to the land and its creatures. That
